Plan International Zimbabwe

At Plan International, we stand with girls to tear down barriers, save lives and build a world where equality for girls leads to progress for all.

In Zimbabwe, girls face teenage pregnancy and child marriage. Harmful beliefs about girls roles affect their rights to education, health care and ability to stay safe from violence. Girls grow up with limited choices, are denied opportunities and kept out of decision-making, simply because they are girls.

For over 40 years, we have worked alongside communities, partners and young people across Zimbabwe to to challenge harmful norms and create opportunities so girls can lead their own futures.

We support every part of a girl’s world, helping her stay in school, protect her health, stay safe from violence and build the skills and confidence to earn a living.

Every day, girls are staying in school, protecting their rights, getting good jobs and driving change in their communities.

When girls lead, the impact spreads, strengthening families, transforming communities and making a future where we are all equal possible.

We won’t stop until we are all equal.

How we support every part of a girls’ world:

  • Helping girls learn skills like sewing, baking, welding, and computer training so they can earn money and support their families.
