Join our emergency response roster

When crisis hits, girls can’t wait. Stand with them.

When emergencies strike, girls face the greatest risks and your expertise can help protect them.

Join Plan International’s Emergency Response Roster and be ready to deploy at short notice, supporting locally led teams to protect girls, save lives and deliver urgent support when it’s needed most.

Conflict, climate shocks and disasters are pushing girls into greater danger, cutting off their access to education, safety and choice. When this happens, we act fast and we stay. We support locally led responses, working alongside teams who know their communities best.

Together, we help keep girls safe, protect their rights and support recovery long after the crisis fades from the headlines.

Our Emergency Response Roster brings together experienced professionals ready to step in and strengthen these efforts. In recent years, roster members have supported rapid responses across multiple humanitarian contexts, helping deliver life-saving assistance within days of emergencies unfolding.

Why join the roster?

Crises don’t affect everyone equally. Girls are often the first to lose protection and the last to be prioritised.

When the right people are in place at the right time, it can make a critical difference. By joining the roster, you can:

  • Protect girls from violence and exploitation
  • Support girls to keep learning during emergencies
  • Strengthen access to health and wellbeing services
  • Back local responders leading the response in their communities

This is more than rapid response. It’s showing up fast and staying when girls are at greatest risk.
