Urgent funding is needed to reach children

The horror and trauma children in Gaza have faced is indescribable and unconscionable.

A ceasefire will stop the bombs and missiles, but right now the need in Gaza is overwhelming. Without urgent help and safe access for aid, people will continue to die from hunger, thirst and lack of medical care. Saving lives means more than silence on the battlefield — it means getting help to people now.

Families who have been forced to flee their homes have already endured terrifying journeys. Supporting them where they are now is urgent and lifesaving. The right help at the right time can mean the difference between life and death.

Gaza’s healthcare system is also close to collapse. Hospitals and clinics are running out of basic medicines and equipment, while illness and malnutrition are spreading.

Winter conditions are making life even harder. With your urgent donation, we can provide warm winter supplies and tents to help displaced families stay safe from the cold.

Through strong partnerships with local organisations, we are ready to deliver more help that saves lives for children and families in Gaza — and to reach even more people. But to do this, we urgently need more funding, continued safe access for aid, and protection for aid workers.

Our teams, working with partners, are ready to keep providing hot meals and clean drinking water.
